“I’m a great believer in getting the right person in for the right job. I’m a joiner by trade. And when I need something else done, I bring in the right tradespeople to get it done correctly. I get a plumber on site to do the plumbing, an electrician to do the electrics, a plasterer to do the plastering. And I get Konsileo in to do my insurance – because Steve is my expert in that.

Craig continues: “Steve spent some proper time with me asking all the details about the business – and then told me what I needed to keep me safe. And it turned out there was stuff I had in place before that was pretty much worthless – so if I’d have put a claim in I was going to lose straight away. There was even more stuff I just hadn’t though of, like directors insurance and life insurance.
“It just goes to show how little I actually know about it all. Quite frankly I don’t have the patience for insurance – or the time. I’ve got four projects on the go at the moment at four sites, and I just want to be able to get on with them, confident I’ve got all the cover I need.
“What I don’t want is to be sitting on the computer or on the phone talking to a lot of anonymous people trying to work out what’s what and if I’m getting the best deal and how to avoid all the loopholes they use to trip you up. I want to be out talking to clients, working with suppliers, and getting the job done.
