Konsileo won the Best Places to Work award in the financial sector for medium-sized businesses.
The Sunday Times Best Places to Work Award recognises top employers based on job satisfaction, wellbeing, and engagement. It is a prestigious award and based directly off employee feedback, measuring different elements of work culture and how they contribute to employee satisfaction.
It will come as no surprise, then, as to why Konsileo entered the award in the first place. As a disruptor in the insurance industry, Konsileo is proving that traditional management methods aren’t the only way to success.
The Stats to Prove It
The stats provided show just how effective self-management and collaboration practices are in increasing employee motivation and satisfaction. There are six categories companies are judged on:

- Net Promoter Score
- Diversity & Inclusion
Across all categories, we ranked as ‘Excellent’. Our average employee happiness ranked at a staggering 95%, and our risk indexes were both under 3% compared to the industry average of 42%.
The Confidence in Management also reached 95%. We don’t have traditional managers; instead, we have numerous support spaces for colleagues to tap into. From coaching to community hubs, from the collaboration centre to pulse calls, there are so many channels available to keep people connected. It just goes to show that you don’t need managers for people to remain confident in the business and how it’s being run.
Six Steps to Workplace Happiness
Companies are also ranked on how well they followed the ‘Six Steps to Workplace Happiness’ list, which included:

- Empowerment
- Wellbeing
- Instilling Pride
- Job Satisfaction
We scored an impressive 93% minimum across all areas, with Empowerment and Instilling Pride measuring at 96% and 97% respectively. An incredible statistic and one that shows just how our Client Directors and Central Team members feel about working at Konsileo. The stats show that our colleagues have confidence in the business itself alongside actively benefitting from being in the company.
When Konsileo first started, we wanted to give back the autonomy and trust that traditional structures have stripped away from brokers. The fact that our brokers would describe themselves as being empowered here means that we’ve got it right.
