David Moffitt – Client Director

I’ve been in the insurance world since I was a school leaver, and in that time I’ve learned two important truths:

1. Every business believes their risks are “a bit unusual,” and
2. They’re usually right. 

From Care to Charity, Marine Trade, Manufacturing, Property, and today’s fast‑moving Science, Technology, and Biotech sectors, I’ve seen the industry evolve, adapt, and reinvent itself many times over. Through it all, one thing has stayed constant: the need for insurance that doesn’t just tick boxes, but genuinely protects what matters. 

My philosophy is simple: your insurance should wrap around your organisation like a perfectly tailored suit—smart, comfortable, and designed to handle whatever the world throws at you. I aim to deliver protection that is second to none, because anything less leaves too much to chance. 

Throughout my career—whether as an Acquisition Sales Manager, Branch Manager, or Client Director—I’ve gained the practical insight needed to navigate both long‑established risks and the emerging challenges of our modern world.

Life Outside Insurance

I’m a long‑time lover of the arts, so outside work you’ll usually find me buried in a book or enjoying the theatre or cinema. I follow football, rugby, and tennis, and whenever the Liverpool weather decides to play nicely, I head out on a long cycling route—still convincing myself I’m as fit as I was years ago.
