After six years in personal lines, I found I had a desire to learn about other aspects and products of Insurance which lead me into commercial broking where I have been for a further six years. Being a broker means building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, insurers, and networks, with the goal being to protect my clients business to the best of my ability. I really enjoy, and gain a lot of satisfaction from, protecting what means most to people and being able to help when they need it most. Due to location, I tend to specialise in SMEs which are primarily in the Retail, Hospitality, Leisure, or Property space, but do not hesitate to inquire on anything commercial as I will always put you in the right direction for a solution. . In addition, being from the area means I am familiar with the businesses themselves and the people that run them, allowing for a deeper and more personal connection whilst maintaining a transparent and professional service.
I’ve enjoyed my experiences within the industry to date, but have never felt fulfilment or autonomy. Moving to Konsileo has proved that it is possible for companies to be unique and warm, as well as encouraging collaboration as opposed to competition.
Outside of work, I am an Under 9’s grassroots football coach for a local club which I really enjoy and plan to follow the age group through their junior football journey. In the nice weather, I also like to cycle and catch-up with friends over a beer or food!
