Jo Evans – Client Director

After initially starting in the care sector working in the local care home, the antisocial hours made it difficult to continue. I still wanted to make a difference and support people, but with a more traditional 9-5 role. With two offers on the table, I decided to join Lloyd & Whyte brokers; the warmth and professionalism I was met with made the decision easy. I was drawn to the prospect of making new connections and nurturing them over time, becoming the person clients could rely on. Complete transparency and open communication are at the centre of everything I do, and I always prioritise the interests of my clients. My experience has shown me the importance of taking the time to understand my clients properly – their priorities, concerns, and long-term goals.

I utilise this knowledge to provide tailored advice and ensure they feel supported throughout the process. As a generalist, I’m comfortable supporting a wide range of businesses and organisations. I enjoy analysing complex risks, which is why I have naturally developed deeper experience in the construction industry. The high-risk and technical clients, such as those with multinational operations, keep the role interesting.  

 Flexibility and Self-Management

The flexibility that Konsileo offers is incredible. Having control over my schedule means I can be more present for my clients while still having the space to contribute to the community and support local charities, an important part of my professional life. I have the freedom to be a better broker and a more active, engaged member of the community.  

 Gigs and Adventuring 

Outside of work, my life is pretty busy! My partner is a DJ, so I often go along to her gigs and unwind, dance, and meet new people. I also love exploring, you can usually find me in the West or North Wales discovering hidden gems.
