It's Official: We're Commercial Lines Broker of the Year!
On the 10th of October, the annual Insurance Age UK Broker Awards were held. The ceremony looks to recognise the talent that the insurance industry holds and celebrate the achievements of professionals across roles. We were honoured to be nominated for Commercial Lines Broker of the Year and were thrilled by the prospect of adding this accolade alongside our four Best Insurance Employer awards.
A team of our Client Directors and Central Team alike made their way to the NEC in Birmingham, filled with a mixture of excitement and trepidation. They wouldn’t have to wait long. As they sat listening to the list of well-deserving nominees, it felt nearly impossible. But then, nearly ten years after our CEO John Warburton first sat down and conceptualised the company –
“And the winner is … Konsileo!”
Huge elation ensued and our team members went up to collect the trophy with pride. We have been going from strength to strength over the last few years, growing our broker numbers and our book size. Receiving this award is an acknowledgement of all the hard work our colleagues have contributed to the continued success of Konsileo.
Reflecting on Our Journey

A survey from glassdoor.co.uk highlighted how broker employees were among the most dissatisfied across all industries, and we have proven that that does not need to be the case. Not only that, but it also demonstrates how individual and company success are one and the same. Through nurturing relationships and placing trust back with the brokers, we offer our colleagues the promise of becoming the happiest, best rewarded, and most professional selves.
