Nobody knows exactly how this COVID-19 crisis will run but what the UK Government is telling us is to prepare for a disruption of at least 14 weeks, possibly longer – there is no escaping that this will have a big impact on us all.
In these exceptional times we want to reassure you that we are operating 100% as normal at Konsileo thanks to our distributed workforce model and extensive use of technology. That means that we’re here, as ever, for our clients – ready to support your business. And it also means that we continue to be responsive and available to new business enquiries.
DISTRIBUTED REMOTE WORKING
Because of our unique set-up there is no change in our ability to respond to your needs. Our team is distributed across the UK and set up to work remotely, we don’t have a settling in period for a change in the way we work and there are no paper files stuck in any offices! We’re all familiar and comfortable with working from home – it’s our normal.
TECHNOLOGY SET UP
Our technology set-up supports our team and clients. We use Zoom regularly for video calls for day-to-day dealings between team members. We are now actively encouraging clients to use Zoom (or other video call platforms which you may prefer) in the event of having to avoid in-person meetings.
The way we use data means that we can gather information about your business ahead of a site visit. When a visit in person is required, our brokers will take all necessary precautions and have access to our own mobile app which enables them to get information straight onto our own broking platform minimising the time required on-site.
As a client, you also have the advantage of being able to login to our Riskube® platform from anywhere, with the ability to access your insurance programme, an archive of all communications with us, full documentation and you can initiate changes to your policies online.
If one of our brokers becomes ill, we have nominated two colleagues who will take over their day-to-day business. This can be done seamlessly thanks to our own broker platform where all data and client information is stored and is easily accessible by the team at any given time.
GIVE US PLENTY OF TIME
We ask you to keep in mind that insurance company availability may require longer lead times so please be mindful of this when reviewing your insurance renewal needs and contact your broker in plenty of time.
Whilst the Government and the Association of British Insurers have confirmed most businesses will not have purchased cover for this type of incident, we are happy to review policy wordings with you and advise on any insurance implications.
