We are Insurance Times Commercial Lines Broker of the Year
We did it – again!
Last week we picked up our second consecutive Commercial Broker of the Year at the 2025 Insurance Times Awards. The award last year marked a milestone for the company, but this most recent win is a recognition of all our colleagues’ dedication, consistency, and professionalism in their work.
The Insurance Times Awards saw around 1,000 insurance professionals gathered in London to celebrate their hard work. The awards focused on impacts and innovations in the industry and rewarded those that have pushed the boundaries of what insurance can be. In over 30 categories, judges awarded gold, silver, and bronze trophies to those that demonstrated excellence.
Insurance Times' Interview: David Sedgeley
Our Chief Commercial Officer, David Sedgeley, spoke to Insurance Times about why we decided to enter the award. He explained how we, ‘care deeply about creating a better experience – for both clients and the brokers that support them every day.’ Talking about why we stand out, he emphasised that our model, ‘is not based on theory – it is real evidence.’ This can be seen in our ‘proprietary platform that enables genuine collaboration rather than enforcing hierarchy. Our peer-to-peer, artificial intelligence supported file review process has reduced compliance errors by 36%, while turning regulation into shared learning.’
David also notes how winning the award would ‘recognise that collective effort, validate everyone who chose to help build something different, and shine a light on a model we hope contributes positively to the future of broking.’ By bringing attention to an alternative way of broking, we hope to disrupt traditional notions of what insurance can be. It doesn’t have to be impersonal or commission-driven, but rather a place for autonomous experts to collaborate in providing businesses with risk management advice that helps ensure their future.
