I love developing relationships, which is why I have been in the industry for over 35 years. My passion is helping people, cultivating it as a broker through ensuring my clients have the correct cover for their business. Honesty and transparency are essential for me, alongside managing expectations, working within deadlines, and delivering the best product at the best price. I have previously worked as a Motor Trade underwriter for 15 years, so I appreciate the technicalities of each stage of the insurance process. One of my other responsibilities was Regional Director, which strengthened my leadership and interpersonal skills. It also exposed me to the intricacies of sectors and how they each require a unique approach.
Collaboration and collective learning
At Konsileo, I have the freedom to manage my own account and workload. I love being able to collaborate with other brokers who specialise in products I’m not familiar with, enabling me to help more customers and foster new relationships. Being an all-rounder myself, I am also able to contribute my knowledge and expertise in return.
Socialising and mindfulness
When I’m not working, you can usually find me with friends and family or walking my dog. I also enjoy cooking, reading and yoga.
